Ramesh is given a path out of extreme poverty

Ramesh Manjhi, Son of Lalu Manjhi
Dear Chris, Praveen, and Hiroiz,

Thank you for supporting Ramesh’s education for an entire year through Shoshit Seva Sangh (SSS), which provides free English-medium education to break the vicious cycle of poverty.

Ramesh belongs to a remote village in the Muzaffarpur District of Bihar, India. He joined the SSS school in 2007. His parents, Lalu and Tetri, are landless day laborers. With their four children, they have only known extreme poverty and hopelessness. Their village is prone to flooding every year, which adds to their misery.

Ramesh has shown determination to succeed since his first day at the school. His progress in academics is indeed commendable.

Ramesh’s tuition and clothing and medical care has been given by SeeYourImapct supporters for the last two years, and thanks to your donation, Chris, Praveen, and Hiroiz, he will be able to attend school for one more year.

Thank you for your support.
