Eight year old Sikandar comes from a remote village in one of the backward districts of Bihar. His father works as a day laborer, and his mother died few years ago. He has an elder brother who, like his father, is illiterate and is also a day laborer. He has two brothers and one sister. In his village there is no school as it is in an inaccessible area. To be in a proper school is an opportunity neither Sikandar nor his father could ever dream of. A bright future beckons him provided he continues to work hard and grabs the opportunity ahead of him!
Thanks to a kind donor, two months back Sikandar’s clothing and care was taken care of for an entire year and now with your generous donations, Praveen, Bryce, Ehtasham, Sondra and Emmanuel (x8), Sikandar’s tuition for a whole year has been sponsored.
Thank you all for your support of Sikandar, it will surely encourage him to study and do well in life!
