Anand can look forward to happiness in life
posted August 10, 2011

Nine year old Anand Mohan belongs to the Musahar community and lives in a village on the outskirts of Patna. He lost both his parents and is being brought up by his uncle and aunt. He has two brothers and two sisters. His uncle is a casual laborer, and has children of his own, so it is virtually impossible for him to financially cater to five additional children. Anand would have been forced to start working to supplement the family income, and for him, getting admission into the school run by Shoshit Seva Sangh is like a dream coming true.
Anand Mohan is a conscientious student and has performed reasonably in the two years that he has been in the fully free English medium residential school run by Shoshit Seva Sangh. During the last academic year, thanks to the previous support from donors on SeeYourImpact, Anand’s tuition and clothing and medical care was sponsored for a full year.
Last year in Grade one, Anand secured an overall 88.8% scoring, 91/100 in English, 82/100 in Hindi, 94/100 in Maths, 88/100 in Science and 91/100 in Social Studies.
Your donations of six months of tuition each, George and S K S, will enable Anand to continue his studies in grade two.
Your donation of a year of comprehensive clothing and medical care, Christina, will take care of Anand’s basic needs for the entire year.
Thank you, for enabling Anand Mohan, to continue attending school.
