Pramod is 10 yrs. old and comes from a

Musahar Ghetto in a village called Rajwara located in the state of Bihar, India. Pramod’s family lives well below the poverty line. Both his parents are illiterate landless agricultural labourers. His father, Dhaneshwar, with three sons and three daughters, can barely afford one square meal a day.

Pramod is a bright student. He was admitted at Shoshit Samadhan Kendra, a school run by Shoshit Seva Sangh for the children of the Musahar Community in December 2007 and he is now in class II.
