Sikandar never thought he would be able go to school

Sikandar sada
Dear Sumit, Marc, Michael, Mark and Lynn, Jeff and Tricia, Fawn, Dean and Julie, Adam, Akiko, and Praveen,

Eight year old Sikandar comes from a remote village in one of the backward districts of Bihar. His father works as a day laborer, and his mother died few years ago. He has an elder brother who, like his father, is illiterate and is also a day laborer. He has two brothers and one sister. In his village there is no school as it is in an inaccessible area. To be in a proper school is an opportunity neither Sikandar nor his father could ever dream of. His younger brother, Inder Sada, is also enrolled at the school run by SSS.

During the last academic year, thanks to the previous support from donors on SeeYourImpact, Sikandar’s tuition and clothing and medical care was sponsored for a full year.

Last year in Grade two, Sikandar secured an overall 91.44% scoring, 89/100 in English, 94/100 in Hindi, 94/100 in Maths, 94/100 in Science and 92/100 in Social Studies.

Your donations of a month of tuition each, Sumit (x3), Marc, Michael, Mark and Lynn, Jeff and Tricia, Fawn (x2), Dean and Julie, Adam and Akiko, will enable Sikandar to continue his studies in the third grade.

Your donation, Praveen, will provide Sikandar with adequate clothing, and comprehensive medical care for an entire year.

A bright future beckons him provided he continues to work hard and grabs the opportunity ahead of him!
