Suraj is a very bright student

Thank you for ensuring that Suraj goes to school for an entire year.

Suraj Kumar is nine years old, and hails from Shiwalapar, a village about 10 miles from Patna. His parents, Rampravesh Manjhi and Lalti Devi, are both casual laborers. Suraj has one brother and four sisters, and the average monthly income of the family is approximately Rs.2500/- ($ 55) per month. The family struggles to make both ends meet. Sunil has been in the free English medium school run by Shoshit Seva Sangh for two years, and he has been consistently scoring in excess of 90% in all the subjects. He can now dream of achieving things that his family would never have thought possible.
